To Credit card, when I first came I didn't need to buy car or other luxuries, I didn't apply for it. I got my first job two weeks ago I came here. When I had been here for just over 1 month, I went to TD bank again to apply for a Credit Card, telling that I had a job, which they could verify by checking my account. By the way, I had deposited 2 paychecks to my checking acount by that time. I got my credit card in about 2 week later without paying any deposit.

If you think you might be in a similar situation like mine, you can do the same and you don't need to waste your money or face the inconvenience of the frozen deposit. |
