$ [5 J# h8 V( m1 H  o. {" ^Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
: q* K) t9 X* n8 w7 hResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
8 g! Z* N) O% a) WEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
/ K+ `: L! Q2 N' i9 j- C9 IDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
9 @0 x. E5 k$ a# e  Z) ?, RTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
/ Z9 v- p$ d8 Y, d4 W) mMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
% a$ a/ e8 ~2 r8 qExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
' @5 E. f# o: a! TStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
