Duties
Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
: K" {! m, u, e* l: B4 C9 S0 l: B. @Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
( {) G6 q" F1 ]8 l2 vProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
: I4 q) ]; y2 G9 x, WWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
8 m) f) L: I# hDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
$ a, e. s& Z, v0 G$ e1 y/ _2 hDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Qualifications
9 R8 }" M* Z6 i2 G+ rTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
: @0 q$ W8 Q9 p, l0 M9 a7 WRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
1 E, v! ?* Y$ S, A- `6 K5 G5 tMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
' `; Z$ v7 w* S8 p4 V9 a: j, iExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
