- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.3 h2 c- P6 }1 }
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker

Job Description
6 F' T' y+ K. f" e$ s6 K- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community8 w" c4 s* H& F; z: U. o8 }3 _* R
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
0 F8 Z2 O; k; k% Z% o$ T- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services8 z) o" [6 J! I
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
& ~" S: E" ~, p- U- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members8 w3 T m6 Y! k- W2 O, D0 `
- update ASSIST website m9 x( A& w1 I" A( j" A; R0 i
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre4 I! q' {% }3 y5 c8 `+ j9 @9 Q; T
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
% f+ U8 b+ X; ?* l1 d( T- assist in writing proposal for ISP
# E4 E8 a1 i9 E- q0 G4 n3 g3 }3 j- write quarterly and final reports for ISP

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time& S8 y- M* B8 ~' Q5 [' l% T$ O; {

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)2 L7 Y; D. k) I4 c# }

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education , H+ |5 B* U% J
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills+ K ?" O" N3 K5 x8 e( A5 T
- experience in community work and immigrant services' ~- d5 x8 _+ {) t6 p
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset9 ]8 y6 O% {6 k
