2 {7 D, a5 c/ Z- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
: m/ ] D: B( ?. z& o( a8 Z- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
9 ~1 V; v8 b* T9 {. w6 U- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team! ]% K' o8 R+ \( Q

Qualifications:
# P4 _9 U+ t8 Q9 M/ r- post secondary diploma
: F/ o L# G* w b" s0 j- customer service and office clerical experiences3 k; m; m! C5 k4 e j& g* H9 T
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

Job Description
$ l' e6 [# n' |4 G7 _# C- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community' h7 {3 `0 _. S& k- k
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services3 A) q( E6 W& g( `
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services! m" `- I5 E" ^0 ]
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
$ F, u9 z5 y( n( O5 Q. q- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members+ m& k" j: D- U6 u }+ Q
- update ASSIST website
P- S7 a% N# H) g5 K; W- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
( A* V$ y0 I% F1 J8 M& ?- y; M- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services% @( q8 [8 d) s/ d. I: y+ }
- assist in writing proposal for ISP/ ^* n& [4 @! y! @7 @2 @4 H
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP9 X2 w0 j( V/ Z
- hold regular meetings with ISP team

- update membership database
! k. B! M L# F$ V. S- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

) d! |4 l0 K" v1 X: w- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education 2 e* e7 C! `$ D9 ]4 ^4 Y
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills, P' ^3 W' G3 I: ~/ W
- experience in community work and immigrant services! ~' O( s3 z0 {2 }
