- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community5 R' D1 L: L+ s, e
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
8 q/ K# q1 [( E- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services4 k% [$ }) {6 i* ~; L
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies/ e: J5 y+ b5 `
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
/ }$ h9 L+ ^* I8 U' O# {+ a }- update ASSIST website. C& ~0 y" Q# J3 o( H
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre/ R( O5 S( o3 A
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services5 E) V5 g2 j" A$ a* U0 r
- assist in writing proposal for ISP2 ?, ^7 W/ i* B
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP/ \' Z! }, _! V$ X5 d V
- hold regular meetings with ISP team$ q6 v! W. m* w4 t5 o7 ~# Y
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education 6 A$ a0 h w* s
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills: F% Y" h5 ?; K
- experience in community work and immigrant services2 J/ p- ]3 O/ \# X
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset; n) b* o1 h& V+ S
