- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.9 ~) u, \( n, p8 E5 a1 Y$ b
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker

- customer service and office clerical experiences

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
3 w5 Y4 t% A8 o8 u% \2 H1 O- J2 \" L- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services( u% k# _/ p3 }0 A
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
6 I `! k+ v7 G8 s8 u u; G& b- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies& y7 ], f) S, q* }
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
" u! ^+ W: C9 ^) M- update ASSIST website1 o$ ~* X1 A. _( d& L1 V' A
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre( F S: Q0 ?$ F0 f4 w2 b U
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services m/ k$ \& ?7 \1 n& I% W# |
- assist in writing proposal for ISP4 d8 t e( F; B5 h
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP/ x' P r0 z* r5 i, Q
- hold regular meetings with ISP team' {% {+ ^2 a# A2 H- X' k
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time0 e, [+ P5 a7 U
- update membership database: I; D( i) `9 \" ~& ]9 D, g7 ?
- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications, q) {* w: M/ R8 j1 T, l7 H
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
& y) ] V4 Q2 p) n2 Y- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
" U) e2 P2 c* a+ f8 D0 A8 k- experience in community work and immigrant services
