Position: Resource Coordinator / Terms: Full-time / Salary range: $34,000 to $40,000 annually, based on qualifications + plus an excellent benefits package. Closing Date: February 6, 2008.

Context: The Edmonton Social Planning Council is a not for profit organization that provides leadership to the community and its organizations in addressing social issues and effecting changes to social policy.8 g+ ^7 S# v, a

This position is responsible for: managing/promotion the ESPC Resource Library (including compiling & purchasing resources, retrieving/analyzing reference materials, promoting library materials & services, etc.); consulting with community partners about their social research priorities and needs (helping to inform the creation of new research partnerships and projects).

! ^' F% x) X. ]2 k# M3 tThe successful applicant will: hold a post secondary degree (or related experience) in the social sciences or a related field; have research & analytical skills/experience; possess excellent written/verbal communication skills; be well organized & have confident computer skills.9 E0 p1 k7 X" m- W0 N" U4 N
