Biotech Technologist Position Available

Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

Skills and Abilities Required
7 s6 S" E2 n& h7 oExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.
( Q1 r: f8 Q7 c& m+ U }+ I) n8 L, p) h
Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting. # y) T$ |: i+ y9 h9 g% `$ r

Have good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.7 c2 K# ]5 H, a% r& P0 K

Minimum Qualifications
