ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
6 ], q% \& I3 Y' zUniversity of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
- o' F! O1 ^! c3 i6 _+ vstrong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
, j* F' v. G. Pto apply for government funding with us.

- Y8 Q/ Z) }/ L: q  x3 qQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
4 M/ Z6 @8 E: Q* J/ s$ Acloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
8 m7 v% v* b4 m# k" Z5 {7 F$ O) ^over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
# r! U- n* O4 Othe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
! S  a; ?* e6 \! W( A5 y! @accurate and complete research records.

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
