烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

• 1 cup sugar : U; _' ~# s' C5 ^3 @' @
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
) k# I+ N. l) B7 J) z• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
7 t( L& S" j6 P E• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
8 n9 y. c+ s$ H. F% h- L9 x( r' r• 4 eggs, well beaten

PREPARATION:# f3 r( t4 u, ]( g
Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.

Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.5 e( U' K7 [( {4 H! o* r0 v

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
