烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
# ^& [- \! G6 Z: E• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
& Y* l, v/ Q- x' M4 o. [, r3 U• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3 m8 O& r& M) r( ]• 4 eggs, well beaten" h& d! T! w7 ^: U; y" p

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
- T; |6 S7 T3 d% x( y0 f$ C1 B& ZTurn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. $ t& A" O3 P2 j2 Z* O
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

$ G) W$ m& M$ h9 A: \( k3 X这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
7 G6 L& J* a6 w: Abeating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。

检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
