8 h6 W) ~8 E5 F8 E3 ^- | of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
( d1 t9 p, |2 i) f& s- n+ W eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese7 V/ p3 b% F# W1 _+ `
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
/ V4 T* m) X# q2 x& u1 U* ^% @ customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
4 A4 [, Q! t1 J8 ]4 h this broad land.9 K- F4 l) {* g6 ~7 w2 ]; t
& ^2 M' X N% V# j: _) P
We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to6 W3 n3 [% ?! z+ }2 V
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and$ t* O5 M5 S7 c3 f0 [
talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
# _$ v4 j( H1 J" i, J8 j performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
' f3 N1 q' ~* w3 u' p: G2 H ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
/ k) Z* A% X" `" J9 [$ ` Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a) w8 }% q [# i1 d/ L q$ i* X
lot of fun, like what we did before.' l# Z0 } o9 _+ w1 h

As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
3 ^; Y! s+ _3 S sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),
. D9 T/ k; w- q9 H: E stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any! u# v, w3 I" E J! v/ `
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your' I+ b# X' h/ q( x' h1 |
program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up% Y- I8 u& F: Q; Z# K: p2 m, A
comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
- @/ I" ~* ]& J9 O6 Y7 R8 ]0 j% G CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.

Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also9 L4 m4 a) A L
on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
