2 d% w; W8 H/ b of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the% Q2 b7 r$ X5 q8 k* e
eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese# `3 B8 i9 @ Q, U" p- y
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
! I9 a- A3 g' v5 M customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on. o) e1 o w5 G5 `
this broad land.9 o6 B" M, H0 B3 ]
. b/ M! N. p( S& m3 nWe encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
1 @- {0 Y% I* e2 @! i' _& l contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
; w3 j L9 B0 P& y) I talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
7 h& e0 }- M2 y: I- l7 n) m4 | performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show

As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs' _4 v+ Q; ]5 F
sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),8 ` h; t' I# c6 j) Q. V
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any
) j0 c7 s8 Z" S4 m0 I$ H performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
6 b: Z$ j0 X2 Z( ? e, y4 g3 B4 ?/ ? program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up# f. H: D7 w* i. U/ \
comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since! e$ f. M ~/ n! @. D& }
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.

' e( \/ w& @) z# h' e0 @( oMeanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also- e9 D& H: [. M
on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system1 v# s* k n- Z# h) B
