• build and maintain collegial and strong working relationships with staff

• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services

• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

! q; x- F9 ~- E• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities+ x0 O% H: Q9 ~ B, e0 o
• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders
# e8 D- T& W+ Q; p' G/ t6 K0 [• communicate the value of the organization to the public

• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
6 A% I- ~% I* Y• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
, u5 T" J. R, p# c3 W& v• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

- University degree in a related field; ; l$ @5 ]2 T/ h, U) Z
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;3 T F+ G: b" r* I8 E& D
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
8 i& X: I! A! W: E2 {- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization 0 A8 V P+ d$ w5 l3 I# G
j! D# E" `7 N" J% a! a3 B
Salary
/ H8 q/ u- ^- z9 R9 F5 ]- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
