•        is accountable to the Board for the achievement of the agency’s vision mission and goals

•        provide leadership to staff and volunteers

•        meet with staff on regular basis

•        design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities4 P1 g( _$ R: l# e
•        prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders6 T& Z' a8 v6 |( c# I; C7 d) Q0 a
•        set program priorities and directions
/ |8 Z8 c0 b4 A. Q•        identify community and user needs and trends! r, a9 e& ^- ^' Z9 `
•        implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

•        build on knowledge of community resources in program development- w  g$ `$ l! e
•        ensure programs serve to enhance the coping capacities and well-being of people by removing inhumane systems or barriers and to empower people to work on positive changes in themselves and in others7 y8 Y$ U2 p( A9 A' \" k) H

•        act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities
7 W. V* e( b  A•        build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public  & funders& }1 o/ |' W% u# a0 r/ @
•        communicate the value of the organization to the public, A) w4 H. i% N2 Q. ^$ K  z  N
•        identify community needs and trends
  X7 M6 _1 `/ G& @3 R•        coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups; r2 q! x& P0 T1 G" T* X
•        advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups# Z5 p: T8 f1 g6 J
•        work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.9 V5 r. l9 ~6 E) [3 P
•        Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

-        University degree in a related field;
, ?- @0 {% H+ P-        Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
1 B2 p& e3 i# r4 H-        Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; : i7 J0 d' I4 F7 Q) J/ O; X
-        2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization
+ {% e- g$ z  j7 U! e: l. E$ i& f' F8 c# u1 j' t
Salary1 K* t* V/ S! C9 `  B2 R
-        $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits " G4 H' b+ V. ^1 O- K8 P  ]/ D

-        Security check ( at the expense of employee) and child welfare check
