Staff

• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• identify community and user needs and trends/ L" l. G# \: }. @5 q
• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

• maintenance of appropriate reporting

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities5 g- `4 v# w& r3 }
• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders

9 i: ~5 M( r/ B2 G3 T7 j• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
5 }( a U3 |( t3 ]5 P• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups i: m. u( g0 j9 Y, M
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

Qualifications' c# l' ?2 d% Z! a* l
- University degree in a related field;
9 T/ |- D N0 O Q% k! X0 T- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
% _* N4 j0 f5 w% D3 I! G6 j* Y- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; " u9 a8 U2 F- f8 P
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization
