• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders

& h9 n4 X$ y* S; Y! ~; @8 a• identify community needs and trends
- f4 X& ^8 a3 P7 L' B6 {- U• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
- i( C8 B o) _; D& x [• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
/ X8 \, J! F' C7 u2 c* i" K4 ~9 Z• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

Qualifications
$ M9 t( c2 ~; s" j& d( L# b- X8 d- University degree in a related field; % }: M; A+ U0 h1 O6 d9 P% J
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;; V% Y2 v! l, g( a
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; . ^% N) w7 c/ ]- N0 A9 y* P9 E' }
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization 0 T; o7 q* W. t. l& q9 ]( ~

; a+ q+ Q" P5 l) F) @- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits 2 ~8 k0 _1 ?6 J% O' [/ p6 A
