JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

: J* {! C! w& s0 {- N) i) |2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
' e  f/ X, m5 B. h; B+ U
: Q8 r6 e3 n: q+ M! R3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

# W& n5 u" G& X$ |& F( H8 n6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

! M6 h' p, a' ]  @* ?QUALIFICATIONS:

  n( V& C1 c; {2 T, B1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

" }2 f9 G4 c$ f- K6 f" C) ?' N2) Cashier experience.

! Z( x7 S3 z+ w9 a3 m; r3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
