JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 h6 s: P( q$ h% X, |
1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
$ q; ^7 Y7 l  x( }4 w7 j* T
3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

0 u4 S% r8 r' A' @  ~; a7 h$ R- |4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

$ u( n2 L2 f- U' i# m5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

9 k$ U! V. e1 x/ M( i3 t& O% Y1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.
! _+ p  C# p; D
4 ^% ?  i# z( Q' D1 K7 m8 ]/ E, b3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
