JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

$ P5 f& d' Z8 M5 [0 Q DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
. c) ^7 d  a, y9 n. \  D; C1 u6 ^) e
2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

7 G1 r3 w& ?( s, M$ j8 S$ n' l4 j3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

% s. e( d4 s0 l4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

  j; k& N. u  N- i: x5) Serve as cashier when required.

# O0 L# e' L. s( a. M3 G- m: O6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
0 b" d5 G/ u/ z! {8 @% M/ U! t* b) A
, A8 f5 j' F( }$ |  _% {" x1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

! L5 _( g& e4 b9 g- E2) Cashier experience.

, b/ U* J# E& i% D. r8 ^3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
