JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
5 C) Q X- z( g! A, M. S+ RSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
1 [; T" S3 F2 Y9 [2 L4 t, v; }! k6 ~Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
$ e5 {3 x* x* v* {9 M2 T) d, Zof Course Pack production.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:# ~! |0 q1 _1 N* U: o6 n7 r3 Y
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
9 m) r3 z8 o, J! b+ u7 Bof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
" Y0 `1 B8 |7 }. A( _$ n& x- I# u
) K( ^7 \$ m+ R2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
/ {7 z" F3 G1 G+ L( p% Yprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

8 h& Y1 h: W0 ~' {9 Y3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of 3 K2 l6 ?# M8 @$ h4 ]) h
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and
! ]' @0 Z+ s$ {* E1 Zkeeping appropriate and accurate records.

8 v+ r* l7 }7 O4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment " t- W b g* r
failures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,
$ ]# t, j! W! g# }and adhere to regulations as appropriate.% c8 a. }. T- K9 n

6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:/ [0 ~0 Z8 U7 s, h
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.% w4 a5 A- o" q2 u4 _, E) O. r8 Q* O0 {
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication
* W3 {! O: V u) mskills.
+ u2 ^. e2 d9 H) Y A3 j
: r2 O# \0 ^; |9 `! {# j( ?) s7 s3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

T: b6 ~" O3 w4 M6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
