SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
6 n2 [' { T% k9 dSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
. b* G% N$ K, F/ Yof Course Pack production.. R. g$ S9 i8 Y/ o+ d

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
; H" A6 K) y5 d/ L1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning ) i( s6 P& h: }, L
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
$ l( U' k* a3 L, G
& U* d) J0 F0 h+ e5 \2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including : v6 _7 d1 g( U' P: ~& j- ]
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.( x7 m) m4 s% ~" {( }
v9 ~' h9 k( z r
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
H3 R; l0 \1 _+ }1 i; dcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and $ R8 a; N& p; x1 s
keeping appropriate and accurate records.

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment , z% z- f) `9 q3 d
failures to the Operations Manager.8 ?( M+ b, L+ _* b% V( ^) x- p l
( J/ U5 G! F+ J8 C5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, 8 g2 Q* N* D( a5 }/ f& k& v
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

2 u C7 Y6 ^5 k; y! u! e1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
: X9 G$ w6 H- z$ G& }5 ^" r# R( O2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication % }( F: D& x& e( W# l9 R
skills.! G" z2 s5 ~& I0 ^9 F

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.6 Q" X& X5 `0 i9 b

5) Ability to work in high stress environment.
