JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager- 6 x: ~$ V3 J! a7 P" k
SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
' g, L' C7 G' V" o' vSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects / s' H7 B2 F) E. M2 B' a
of Course Pack production.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:5 l8 h& P; \0 E+ i
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
' c4 n0 P q% o6 r6 {of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.- n5 D% t' X4 P$ }
) x, \+ [7 v) o2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 2 q7 C* T& f ~/ G
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.- i1 M$ v/ }9 [& ~# w% N0 s
0 ?) s; y' ?. w* q; _) ^3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
8 u* S$ y2 j5 `3 V7 c7 s1 n1 n" p$ Dcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and
+ H: M& ~& F/ Ykeeping appropriate and accurate records.2 f5 C5 y& p J+ }: m. H* L
$ v" X P7 M% n4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment 2 ^# E" G: F7 m( N) ~: ^/ p4 @% B

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.2 s) {5 Z5 |) I9 Y; `
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication / O; j- y' R8 V( z9 \
skills.

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.' S* @: E T+ o8 M

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.
