Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
3 o- {2 E4 U% {; ` r: ?8 T+ Wwork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft1 k7 }. Y6 K3 F X& i
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up. o {7 r5 {* k9 T1 G
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the* h9 M3 l6 x1 [1 V& H
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.

) e6 I) h5 N, C- ]( d( jvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the

$ v) n3 S1 Y5 y3 Q v% T; B) gFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
! I/ K+ M/ M6 n& e- [9 k! r; jpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.: W4 Z) b& a2 R e( M; ?9 J
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing( W; g4 R b) |) u1 d# z
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late5 P5 F0 h( M2 W( a+ z& @
hours are part of this crew’s duties.$ L8 ?5 A. }# T6 ]
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
3 F' m* `0 p6 l- c. x2 Afestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
0 }2 s* u" U* `9 ]+ b. K0 Pprograms to visitors to the festival.! K/ P2 g% G0 a4 `. R( f
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for- k( \# \& _3 o' Y5 o
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
; E. B ~8 w8 E6 i: aOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed W/ R: ~# Z4 G- e& X, Y/ v# I
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the* J( f2 \# Y! o: G O& x
festival., U- ^8 U7 B8 v7 B5 Y
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is3 g4 k8 @% F X
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
4 M7 f' u; v, K& b. Zare physically fit and ready for any emergency.
# j( U2 S2 t& ^: tStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
- k" q' @- F8 }, [( |: sand/or understanding of back stage procedures.
# e; C/ z' E* `5 p2 V, Z; k1 [Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be$ k/ ?9 e( X2 W4 q
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as L4 K- C7 R* o1 b8 H
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival2 \5 C8 \2 u' r$ Q" p( j
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
