Food Service Worker II - Food Services

/ k  b6 p# G6 ~. C" R, b, {JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will  
. a0 n4 p5 [6 L: ~; ~/ a7 rassist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
2 M3 ^8 [) J1 x$ S2 \0 F9 m  y& G3 u1)              Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display  
( i# j% W5 i/ z/ B5 W9 \food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen  
( u3 t/ V" S$ Qarea.

5 g$ i: y  l: w+ T2) Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public  
4 l4 O( h' f7 B, Y3 r+ C! }clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

0 ?& }6 e, B, L1 x% A. n3)              Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as  
per Capital Health standards.

4)              Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to  
work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services  
7 r! E, I  M! o* ooperating hours.

# [6 E2 B6 l( m9 f5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior  
$ L! \5 a- _( jOperations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

  [) B* |: k4 l2 kQUALIFICATIONS;
$ J0 J# p; C  g" D1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe  
food handling and storage techniques.
) ]* L$ y  P0 F% D2 D1 w
+ l! x. C: u8 f2 T2)              Some cooking/baking experience.

  H' Z; Y& H+ R: J$ q: ]$ c3) Cashier experience.

9 p4 f7 e6 n1 z* K2 }$ B4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

: I  C! f7 q# V& [, {# A* P' f5) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

( L# Q9 x& _: Z8 m' C6) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.

Wage: $8.24/hr + 50% discount on personal food ordered at L´Express
