DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
/ A8 e. O; ?/ D! a3 `- W) t/ J(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

% s0 H1 n  P7 c+ n" ]/ ~+ xDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
( C6 U6 s6 z. l) y+ E1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
! w2 z) ?2 R; b! j6 o% d  g& M
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
% T* A  b. [4 p6 h* F& Z7 x% ]
1 E2 A* ?" S4 |, u8 a3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
8 ^! d' x$ g) H& X! N& aarea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

! x% @/ n- @3 J/ k  N, c, Z1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
' M; t/ d" m8 z6 _4 ?0 Iof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
0 d! Q) \) x5 U/ B( f' B) Ncalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

* L/ e+ h3 t+ c/ }& f8 Z1 ~, \. W3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
