JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
( D$ l1 K, R! x) Z  z0 O6 r3 P(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
0 L  w5 O' y7 ^! S, H: f2 b2 opolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
) B  n3 q1 ?0 J7 i1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
  I4 \8 j' J+ y$ {# ?" N$ A
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

* ^( n/ k7 [  t" q' L3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
$ B! m2 `; v- l$ r/ r% Uof garbage.
% `1 p( |; u! K  I# u, C2 K6 Z% i
& R4 }4 |4 G0 d: z1 P4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

! z  B5 p! d* ]& |- g8 I! i& h6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
# G2 c2 I3 u! O8 a# q& n: l' d" n2 |Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
2 e5 R/ T% H' A* w; c, U1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

5 m2 |4 W% a& q# T1 n2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
4 ~7 m6 t3 L& c+ F* ~5 s" p1 ^calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

% r9 |" Y% B3 i) P5 r1 V* q; a7 l4 L4 [3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
% P$ c; W, }) p& d% r& b9 xpublic.
