Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the 0 Z* s0 J- k. t
procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service, + o9 M3 G; M4 ~' }; b
cleanliness and order in the bar.$ S" y! [# R; H2 B! v
) F- n$ r# {, Q' g, MDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
" h* G5 d# J3 T3 K" S- r1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and

6 A H- b( }7 Y" d- X2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the
3 i( r. z, k7 f# R. } r; Z% k6 | `bar and debit floats.( k0 b& L0 I1 R( D( F$ n8 Z" T

3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular
. ~6 u* m4 [( J) z: P6 E5 Dattention to areas used by customers including bar counters and
. L m z0 I2 a; Q0 @seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.
) b* l! Y/ d* q$ ?8 y' T. v* [8 I C! h
5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in ; r! @6 K. t6 l9 h7 Q* C
storage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol , F/ }, m5 V# U) E3 N! X
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.
$ h6 P( Q/ P; I+ a2 T7 y, X1 e2 x3 k3 R$ Y! |/ Q! {" s
6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close 4 }4 ^8 U% N* x
monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a . n5 f3 R+ W/ ?. B; @& ]1 @4 @
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in / `: f1 L, N8 E6 y( W/ N! a
accordance with Students' Union policies.

7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a

QUALIFICATIONS:

2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume 5 u- V* V) Q f+ v2 U. J- u+ E

3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in ( f! x% ?# @' m& i" r
accordance with Students' Union policy.

4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.
