the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at

venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,( ~. a# q7 n5 z5 |' Y. V1 S; g5 ]
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for: I( C- l1 k: {2 j
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and6 P' ^7 |/ y4 q1 O; m' x# F
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
2 K6 _% }! ^- a) ktheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,. Q: O, {- v m# z# l. l
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
8 b+ U& O7 k5 G/ v( rvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
8 i# S5 \* _3 \9 f5 l4 houtings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city# Y# v$ ~ |- u. S: c1 c
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night) m. U5 M! ^2 E' G& u( e
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or4 C& r8 z& V% ]

such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint

F+ @ _7 ]- Y. E- e/ _+ yQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in) M u& M/ j4 H2 L8 D
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate! R; Y8 y' E- b7 L l& l
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
3 y8 E$ f& ?; b, f! }1 [demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
* n6 } q, D: B2 m) q7 y3 Ca variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those/ Z6 D- @- I5 M+ M0 P( Q

skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
