Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
8 e0 Q* Z8 u# R% y  T- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
5 f0 n$ S7 h8 A& Othe student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
school year starts.

( h& Y$ Q; o8 }! W8 K8 r' P4 }4 _Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
" {& W0 Z, d3 X+ R9 |' |CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
# b: N/ Z$ @6 Z+ H* O* Q) M/ mvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
  C$ n. G3 S* S% _! H* H7 O) Ktheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
* N8 D4 U. V9 H6 K( I6 J" v1 m; Ovenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
: f  `% w' O% }+ ooutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
) ~) d, a/ [8 iexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
6 D. q  w! G- {! R  Z% T  texcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

* A" \0 l$ |8 w) \1 w1 G: cQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
/ ]* W( o3 e. _fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
3 r1 w2 M2 u! d' U$ q. I) [  \demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
# ?) i+ S& a! k' ka variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
% g! C" J2 L7 ~' N8 Q5 H2 rskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
& q0 i& d" E/ v5 ^8 z% Q; DExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
experience coordinating group activities an asset.
