Salary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat
pay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

2 V: c1 @  o, O: H- ~: yHours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
8 a) X. R2 E9 X( \! E$ ^( n- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the

* ]4 L3 q3 |. a$ e2 ?- o1 t  b+ IDuties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
( {! L5 e; P( c) P: a0 D% Z. v# oCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
" u3 N0 \( W4 b; oparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
2 e( m$ f$ |" a/ D' E4 b# kassisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
, ~( k3 q# B) M. i, b3 `& }excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents

! ~( L! N  C/ o6 N$ Q) m' Wpresentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

& ~& @, c1 Y5 V% e' \) xQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
- @% ?  V: M. b# ma variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
* @" M7 m- s" ?experience coordinating group activities an asset.
