2 ^$ b0 q& I6 m4 oSalary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat
% L9 n: X1 d8 F" A4 Cpay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

% I" R( y" }) P- kHours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
" E9 H: G8 r: c; o* xthe student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
school year starts.

' c6 p# ?, }: f  f2 R: u" SDuties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
: W+ X# ?4 k+ `3 R( pCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
' E6 @# b/ w0 Y- v# t( v& Lvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
3 r2 b' j( h! G2 e2 W; J1 @+ a! qparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
9 ^% L/ m8 U/ Q) @: tassisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
3 Z9 _; B; V: G$ W% y  a6 Zvenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
) d" G$ w( z2 w0 vexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
" m9 i8 m! `5 [2 tsuch as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
, _, z% l6 ^* w( k4 w& G5 Xpresentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
& n7 m( l8 S/ M! n3 |demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
2 [8 v4 I* L  Hskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
experience coordinating group activities an asset.
