& T: C: ?, h6 f2 Y" s' FSalary to be paid will be $14.00 per hour (includes vacation pay, stat
pay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

; n# A8 p9 ?2 A$ D* QHours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the
school year starts.

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
, d4 |& V) s$ f% B$ h! [* Avenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
3 z+ A! M* o- ?$ L, letc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
  @/ |+ J) z+ g, x; R, x2 s5 L* ktheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
# D! B$ g7 g  ~: Jtheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
- ?& L% W$ P( ^) T# w& Woutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

5 u' d3 p' ~: `. e7 uQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
2 \# q4 D9 @7 p4 N0 L6 k2 q, V6 ^' ICommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
; L6 N3 }: R2 J5 I! V9 S6 g9 W' H* `fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
2 t3 l4 L! k7 ~# w+ ddemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
0 u0 d6 y( L) h" K8 \6 D+ na variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
experience coordinating group activities an asset.
