1 d6 o9 z$ S2 P3 n* fSalary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

1 C! P: u# Q  K5 P6 J0 u3 ~Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
. Y) ?. q) l! y: r& R; `  z: Wfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
; |, W9 W9 S6 Q! _compounds by chromatography.

( t, f5 e' D, L, w) }0 |Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
& s& V) N& p5 O) {! UChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
3 \" ?0 X9 K* Q+ panalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
6 Z  z1 N: P. O/ ~and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
4 Q6 Z- c4 A; p5 U% X" L, Whope to work in these areas.
