  F2 H% f: z  {9 o2 q  iDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
( }9 f& C) {2 q/ \# Mtechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
& f/ A5 i2 C$ d9 N' B/ rinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
' ?5 a. q4 L& ~9 p9 aanalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
* ?8 [1 i0 k% L4 Kseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
9 \9 E& ~& r2 `! A9 m; V9 ~- gof a team essential.

. m9 ~* s; {/ k  v# gand chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
