Job Summary:& G/ z/ U: W. k: c
The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.& l# L( L4 g2 S' ~

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
! b7 c* T: e- F) C$ x9 gInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
, X) D& S; X! C6 p: _1 SLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
% x( Y- @. @: B. W: l, PMust be able to work safely at all times- }, j& a) u" s
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently; F) O$ {0 t+ f5 [2 d3 v
Performs routine housekeeping.. g) `5 I7 c, |) N
Observes and reports any safety issues1 g% S/ [# a% ]3 C7 ^6 g7 R; J

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization9 {5 V% A/ F0 j9 [( s
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
