Job Summary:
2 q6 m# f% x( g+ E& s! WThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
: w$ A; j/ }8 }2 U: P0 TInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials0 y8 |1 F6 ]0 {1 k# s, G7 X0 N
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material( @% E4 c7 L6 r1 o$ N
Must be able to work safely at all times8 |5 o/ h1 z. ^4 V6 {, p! h+ R0 J
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently+ f4 i2 K8 A% ]% D7 _
Performs routine housekeeping.
% ]$ w$ }; w. e& |4 x1 O* zObserves and reports any safety issues
+ b0 j9 Y$ P X4 S" K1 VOther duties may be assigned

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting( ^* y/ \$ M. D. V
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing) |2 i$ H! x$ c- r8 B
High school diploma (Or GED)
/ Z* |# n2 s! j0 T P+ UWell-articulated and assertive
/ _+ o% B1 \2 X/ P; m3 VAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
- o* i; H3 w6 y5 L: C) t/ SAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos* q( w9 G& W% A- _( S
Ability to write simple correspondence L* m- j" ^4 [3 J2 O0 h
