The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.% H/ e+ i# ^9 `9 p

Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials# j) H$ G2 d) s* `: ?
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials g, a- J' }4 ?! m% u. Y
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
5 C/ F& k/ X+ b$ b$ QMust be able to work safely at all times+ W4 M" M' f Z3 }1 f p" W+ _" W
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently! L0 P4 T4 o: _2 `) @2 d
Performs routine housekeeping.

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing

Well-articulated and assertive% W1 p- B1 o9 _& u& p
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization3 x8 V+ N7 O0 C4 F/ a% S w3 l: k
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
