CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

( r& \1 U, q" ?· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience
& v. V2 c, `/ g5 `0 {% ^4 S
- K, {9 k8 d& V: Y) N· Valid Class 1 license

# Q( W1 A. f+ `3 \  l· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
2 z# q' ~: k  Q) b+ @+ y$ i
) a1 L) W6 c5 y- t3 w5 I$ `! X· Load securement certification

' C) H/ K* x+ D' M8 ^7 w' ?· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations
) f  e  e4 V7 s
# k* g- j1 z, o" ]& g· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

/ v$ C7 o& `0 O5 I' q/ C· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
