MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
3 I2 n& }$ d6 l, }/ Z! XBrief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
Duties and Responsibilities:
4 o. Q5 T7 v) a1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
  j: m! ^6 v) M1 M( V: M/ t4. Calibration of Equipment
5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
6 l: P1 }& n) v/ F6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
5 F- q3 @9 W+ }/ G7. Other duties as assigned
$ J: Z4 S1 y" ]0 i# vSkills and specifications:
1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
" C" ]& a. n) V# e1 `6 ?3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
1 D9 l  N. b# p. s4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
5. May need to work different hours
