CAC is seeking for a full-time procurement officer to join our team.

& r% ~: D" j+ L9 ?/ t5 @This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

: }9 P# ^& {$ w) @& m4 i- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
" V9 Z0 W+ U9 u, f/ v- n- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
& E- ?& G: {& D3 C) a. }- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
