The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
/ J5 S# M6 p8 ?) \-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
) B" a% n; q9 _$ S% s3 m% f-        Building and managing supplier relationships
-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses
# k0 _2 p' V8 N2 ~
+ C$ p! F: T3 Q# S+ H1 i$ w! T% Q5 HRequirements:
, Q2 P# a7 G. B# s0 W- Sound research skills
6 M. M* r2 j  h) a- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
8 B; e1 a3 C5 O; J0 ~/ F- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
