This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

& |& e6 Y4 ?4 \# NThe procurement officer is responsible for:
" c0 l* E# M% C3 w/ T! h/ i-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
3 i9 s( O+ }7 s# B8 a0 R-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
5 h7 \$ Y- o- N0 w6 Q& w-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
" h; W" c0 s, o) v-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

2 m, w- F) E, x4 x2 CRequirements:
' v# C: b" }7 I1 D: T7 ]* E# Y- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
7 {+ q9 z/ Y# @- Strong organization and time management skills
& \6 s. Q) g9 _( P7 Y- Friendly and outgoing personality
9 [1 K+ P* y3 S- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
2 R! v% v- R2 {' ^# I5 G+ D+ X* _- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
; _: z1 [8 @* G. C7 a. n. U$ V& X- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
