Essential Responsibilities:) {5 t1 Y" T/ u1 k
0 m) E/ ^4 c0 IPLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.
6 {' c8 M' P/ g: vConfiguration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.
1 W" ^6 j' {0 x. ^5 ?7 _# JRead and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.
1 \; ]1 m( G/ BCollaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.
2 F1 ^: E; z3 ?5 b' ~% m; Q/ oInterpret and follow contract and customer specifications; P4 o8 V. L/ W. K5 X o7 \! X
Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind., G) r& Z8 ]# b& N D. t
Manage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.
% Z5 Z# U; O% Z) s: y* i% {7 ^Lead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed
& t" L. n1 M7 {. X, ZCommunicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences# u9 c7 Z: ^/ N l0 |4 }
Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution
/ S! o4 _) B; V3 E, O" pWork with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed6 O8 ~. I% v+ J' D- E
Establish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.* w3 b$ x1 V% `0 Z1 X8 z
Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)
) w2 W7 ~3 e! ? T: nParticipate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed- W; w2 }$ `8 d% c) q* g2 E. i
Work with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing
7 o8 u& ?! _- E6 w/ N- @+ fLead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure% q7 q, U- e* n$ H3 }
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.: I" |* O4 P2 v o) F* u

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College
1 l( y* ?, p v; x0 Z7 M% jTwo to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.
: j" Q" D9 w* uAutomation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)+ x9 a c" |# {" J) K4 U" d
Experience interpreting process control documents.
! ]$ c+ _& ^1 r0 ]' {Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities
% |! s$ U6 b/ i" r* w+ N3 r0 |Proven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards# i# E8 H& v( B5 {, I
Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies) [& K- A' v" R
Valid passport and driver's license.

/ K3 I" `/ t9 v2 D1 UStrong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.
$ y2 r9 f# H. w% Z; BMechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.); d# l; K; K6 C1 M
Electrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment3 ^- O0 x9 E# m! P* G
Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents% p/ @5 r6 K) O @
Ability to quickly shift focus from one technical issue to another while maintaining commitment to accuracy and precision1 } G- d) D$ e4 q0 v+ s
Ability to schedule, prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneously, N5 \" J( e: v5 R. l2 Q2 S5 H9 r) D
