As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:- ?/ s5 O% S8 M' y
9 F6 Z8 T" [ ^' T0 r) c5 K4 k' g- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. , u' l0 W. ?5 x2 F& }
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 3 R$ x7 x: Y; I3 F% Q3 ~
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
6 F; }0 }8 d4 _# u- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.

- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). ; B0 U8 u, g7 B3 {
- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements

- Previous supervisory experience ! j- x- q7 [, L m& j1 c
- Strong leadership skills 6 m9 S) z( N' v& _' V/ }
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
& z, C! _, u" {* U- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills " g9 s+ b0 O; k; g. w
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
. c2 d6 `, |/ t( ^& U+ W8 Q- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.; A- F3 k2 L+ s9 ?- b
