As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:
/ J1 o2 [; L- s X( g2 o' T w$ x7 a
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
- ?, S9 f" j4 i6 J" K- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 2 @- }% w. j# I- O8 J* y$ f3 g8 Z y' A
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
3 l$ N. T) e" l, y( l4 l( I: d- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.

- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
; D: p' |7 a; o) m. X7 l; Z( i- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements
! Y5 t+ _+ m9 b+ E& B U, t" u& r0 J& p2 w
- Previous supervisory experience
: G& _* ^! k" D, S- Strong leadership skills
) U- I; v, O" s8 `: \' }) ^- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
2 J( B8 _/ O) @, E2 }3 L" B! U- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills # \8 ~' r6 T* a
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations $ B/ d& u/ b0 d, V( n3 [$ M
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.. x7 R# t; S/ |1 f' k# J/ [
