# ^5 r4 j5 f1 OAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include: W; X" v! r0 ]; Q- q' m0 P$ |1 Q
9 f; z- W, p6 `3 I; B7 F! L6 Q1 p- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. . n3 K* m& [2 D4 w
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 8 J i3 L$ X0 v5 h1 l/ [; p
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. * f3 J& V+ L, U6 J- x
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
; j2 A0 n. j" }- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. ! D* D8 e8 E5 Y K
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
! S" F6 I6 I& C- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements
* K; F% H) ]+ b6 x, ?6 j' S5 `) h
. O1 H) b6 G+ ^$ W- Previous supervisory experience - f' i" W4 b' q$ D0 ~
- Strong leadership skills
5 @4 P8 \5 s0 r0 n2 F o3 A3 S- A minimum of grade 12 diploma # K0 h; r4 T9 o1 K- u; @3 r
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
2 E1 I6 N9 s+ M6 D- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations % l6 k4 O+ s J
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.9 A- P( Q; z* J3 G7 A: `3 f# g
