; l8 Z' m a8 X# M5 o0 |3 @0 FAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:2 v1 w- s5 L# L w5 L0 S
$ O2 Y! p u5 {- ]! e& w
- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 3 F$ g, f0 t3 u) d
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. % X8 x0 R' ?9 T. z
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 8 s" s- g+ E' A# `2 S
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
! V+ t3 {+ q( Y0 S$ I- y2 I- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
: d/ K, Z! ]7 K6 t- c: ~- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

/ Q; y( A& t) h! W- Y4 R- Strong leadership skills % E& Z4 `# F. K) {8 _$ Q
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 9 J: R* R& ]/ _9 K. b [
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
6 `8 P# D3 O' T- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
7 ^* I& a7 E/ Q+ e1 X, U) F- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
