8 G4 E* i' z" x& T$ ?As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:" k; i& d4 R5 G/ C
4 I; d* D' R/ m) Z9 b6 n- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
, k# w3 R, v5 }4 k5 Y1 T- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
+ {0 T2 R$ T. @! R0 z+ Y/ u" G: s- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
8 A) _7 D; ^# d! e8 {/ k$ i- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 6 e8 i0 w/ u* Y! ~. E* K
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.

Experience and Education Requirements
9 x5 G0 J' K' O' M/ Z
* B/ Y* D2 L* t3 Z1 C- Previous supervisory experience
3 G( G, Z/ E+ Z) Q3 o- Strong leadership skills
1 @: K9 E1 L" l* g# s; f/ ?: J- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
0 R4 m9 y' }* V: _4 m; |- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills # T! v& a% z$ U; c% Z
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations - p$ Q# }$ Z6 T& @3 K
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
