$ x( ?. d& V' ~4 \+ h" F WAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:2 [5 l% m" T; n4 K. ]3 C* G0 Y$ N
* A* W& {- w! e- o1 @6 I- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
4 M5 h- P6 I X5 v" @- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
# a# X) p% S% r2 |- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 2 p, _0 W3 w4 R9 }' E9 S; U
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 6 x3 s. b2 t# g
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
" c& G/ z; J% g- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). : Y/ T6 e* `; r- X7 n2 _
- Managing shift expense budgets. - B: I: q2 H2 E& M' _& R

Experience and Education Requirements. i# N: B1 U" u; Y& y+ Y
" a9 ?$ q* \4 r$ W" O
- Previous supervisory experience 2 G/ {: e8 v, _0 z& ^3 M7 z
- Strong leadership skills
3 ~; d5 B4 @. G" `0 R% b/ f- A minimum of grade 12 diploma ; K( }7 Y0 y+ n: g
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
% u' J5 b7 |# }. x) ^- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
# j; d' F: ~+ ~0 a- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
