CALGARY -- Alberta's new solicitor general hopes to have more boots walking the beat this year, intensifying the fight against crime in the province. ! g# _8 S6 |& b# z; m B

Fred Lindsay told Sun Media yesterday plans are in the works to increase the number of RCMP officers and special constables patrolling Alberta roads this year. : z$ m7 E% Z: m2 m
