Today I was volunteering at a post office. A man in an old jacket with uncombed hair came to the counter. He had a wallet in his hand, and put it on the counter. He told me: 7 ?3 K" z. i- R5 F
"I am going to send it back". 9 }, W0 e, ?+ }! {" x! v. M2 A4 f
I did not understand what he meant by "it", because usually people would send a letter or a parcel back to the sender, and I did not see he had any of those. So I asked him:' q5 g8 J. k D# p# v0 P
"I am sorry, what are you sending back?" 5 G; u' x2 e9 p$ K3 ~: b2 E5 `
He said, "the Wallet, I am sending back the wallet." Then he added: "I am going to pay the postage."
- s( T b! f# i"Oh, you found a wallet, and you are going to send it back to the person who lost it?" 1 ?: B" P& _* U( [" P1 r
"Yes, I did."$ r% j* J1 y, |1 X2 N
Finally I understood: this dishevelled man found a wallet, and he was going to return it to the owner by post.
3 t1 q; l6 B2 n/ v+ g) a3 g* DHe took the ID card from the wallet, and showed me the address of the loser of the wallet. I saw there were several one-hundred bills in the wallet. ! d$ @4 Q0 x& ?# O( D! {0 u/ D& z
"Are you going to take some money from the wallet to pay the postage?"
0 _: ~3 _/ a1 s- S( ]! F8 v C"No, I am not. I do not do those things."

I was surprised: "oh, where do you live?": W, Y0 m! f% k3 p. ^
He did not look up, and said: "I do not have a home."
0 o/ ^; G k1 ]: a7 R/ g1 rMy heart had a sudden jump. I realized that this is a homeless man who found money but was sending it back to the person who lost it. 0 C, N& U v+ X8 g: T! S0 J+ f
He did not a posses a home, but he had a big heart. He had the precious fortune of being a man of integrity. " x+ ~$ g/ R. i, b) a8 L5 ?! }
