Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

( u$ H5 e5 j' l3 pAfter 5 years’ development, we are expanding our operation with the acquisition of new office location. We are a firm that provide flexibility and work-life balance. We are a paperless office and believe a technology lead to high quality and outstanding service for our clients.
; V- z) F+ r7 r, y! bWe are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
$ n. ]; q+ R6 e9 ?* w6 }0 Y4 k•        Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
4 E: k3 o5 c" e/ W4 O•        Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
•        Prepare financial statements
•        Prepare corporate tax returns
5 F* ^5 ]4 T) M* ~•        File GST returns
•        Process payroll
, R0 @/ Z( _. {, `0 Q: m! \/ \•        File T4/T5 returns
/ B* Z: o0 \. A•        Prepare personal tax returns
: U" I7 ?$ j2 y4 @5 J$ D•        Communication with our clients and government agencies

The position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

" ^2 L3 A# y( z7 nConsideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.

我不是找工作的，自己有想过读书读这个专业，只是想了解一下这行。

不要读这个专业，除非你有背景或者以后会接手/经营自己的business

6 G1 _7 Q" a* b这个专业的新手一捞一大把，供大大高于求，但是这个专业到了中级就比较容易了，缺点是薪水太低，一直到了高级或者是designated就不同了，供小于求，在招工的网站，大部分要求designation的工作都要放好久才被拿下来，这个门槛卡住好多好多人。。。。
