Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses.

After 5 years’ development, we are expanding our operation with the acquisition of new office location. We are a firm that provide flexibility and work-life balance. We are a paperless office and believe a technology lead to high quality and outstanding service for our clients.
* Z1 k- N3 u$ sWe are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
+ x2 K" o3 F+ |•        Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
4 O) \: s& e% P: H/ L3 B•        Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
•        Prepare financial statements
- e1 f. b7 p/ _+ e4 J8 Z- X, x6 r•        Prepare corporate tax returns
•        File GST returns
. V: Q- ^8 c' w; n. ~•        Process payroll
% a7 I. i( S% a1 [•        File T4/T5 returns
* R0 B2 T5 ~7 q$ ^$ P! _  r2 l( H•        Prepare personal tax returns

The position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

* J  ]" y3 N2 `) p$ IConsideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.

我不是找工作的，自己有想过读书读这个专业，只是想了解一下这行。

9 g" M8 r2 j6 l$ y不要读这个专业，除非你有背景或者以后会接手/经营自己的business

4 J( k0 r. V4 s" _这个专业的新手一捞一大把，供大大高于求，但是这个专业到了中级就比较容易了，缺点是薪水太低，一直到了高级或者是designated就不同了，供小于求，在招工的网站，大部分要求designation的工作都要放好久才被拿下来，这个门槛卡住好多好多人。。。。
