3 E3 y& D0 V9 FPlan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
3 ~% I$ P0 v6 d8 K* PModify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
8 C, Y0 @+ h" R1 v  r/ D: UEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
2 x; g$ M: X: T3 |Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
% S$ x" y* I" g6 g  ^9 i, CRecruit and manage kitchen staff
, h! ~- j/ ~& z" C+ XRectify arising problems or complaints
5 u2 ]% N, w' EGive prepared plates the “final touch”
% Q: y8 l5 V. G9 W& c: N1 ?3 p; {Perform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Excellent record of kitchen management

Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
. g% I; ~: x3 T& nWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
