• Greet and qualify customers on the phone or in person with the view that the end result will be a new resident.

+ D j" f, g* X7 R$ d• Answer phone calls, and respond to email and walk-in rental enquiries.
& ]8 |9 j% }% c8 s7 z+ ]) m• Process applications for prospective residents – ensure credit information, landlord and employer references are correct and complete.( w0 Z- E8 V6 q- u: y: }
• Schedule and complete suite/house showings with prospective residents.
1 Q! V# Q1 [" h2 U" O• Enter and set-up guests and new residents in a database.
9 g j! _: T" l, F" A• Prepare move-in files and ensure all appropriate documents, cards and keys are enclosed.
. q$ C: N% D- @7 x9 S• Schedule and complete move-in and move-out inspections with residents.
& X; ]2 }$ Y* P9 F9 d; W) `1 O% W. u4 `• Perform route inspections as required.; L& B2 ^" ]" B' n9 o5 v
• Assist the Property Manager in administrative tasks as required (security deposits, leases).
; o! o5 _% E: ^3 w& P• Ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act in all procedures.2 j( b- t) K) G. Y8 z5 k9 U" N
• Execute all work in a safe, professional manner in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.2 M/ R4 _* R) `* t1 |
• Ensure local, provincial and federal laws and regulations are being observed within the community.( [& @# y0 ?$ G* ?, h. G3 ]& c s

Required Skills & Abilities:
& S5 J- Q( t- E1 o1 h• High school graduate; Post-secondary education is an asset
1 }. {; C7 R9 t; e% v. b9 n• Two years relevant experience in sales, leasing and/or customer service is preferred
6 c1 h( {0 Y) G' ], o2 A9 A, O9 V• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Z& b9 G) N- _) W% R, y7 |
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
. H# P [- P# ^• Exceptional communication ability, both written and verbal9 n" s/ @8 V3 k$ V- T% h
• Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license
; _) M$ ` A' D• Proven customer service and resident relation skills( k/ ?- a3 @3 J- q9 j4 L
• Must be flexible and willing to change roles or responsibilities as required, T7 k4 E3 u; c8 Z+ C
• Security clearance required upon offer of employment
