We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

DUTIES:. T6 g/ y4 v! z- n6 D( J
4 V5 e+ r; H) Z* u9 ~! |* j• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
}% |, o* x+ ^& z0 r. Q• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.1 n$ ^4 V# h; o; o4 B( B
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible1 f% { S: t' r( t6 _4 g
• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

1 K! f/ q$ v; z7 F• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
7 U/ Q2 E3 S' [4 b5 m' s- I• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study5 M; g1 u% ]; {) `3 {- l, x) `) x
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
( _- v t! ^9 N: }) `8 \1 h1 n" z" R• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers) f/ @. }' c6 d. O
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
