七岁男童在学校附近被车拖行 伤势严重

/ G5 s" c. D5 H本周二早晨，一名男童在埃德蒙顿的Delton小学附近的122nd Avenue与89th Street人行道上遭遇了车祸，已被送往医院。

. j7 w, Z) J4 a+ C7 q3 o一名警官，Kevin Brooks说，“看起来，孩子被拖行了一段距离，并受了严重的内伤。”警方称，男童大约七岁，目前伤势严重但情况稳定。

“太可怕了。我们通过收音机获取了信息，整个部门都出警了。”他说。“小孩受伤总是我们最不忍听到的。”

住在学校对面的Wayne Hoekstra说，这种事故发生时必然的，因为司机总是喜欢在这个地段迅速穿行。“限速是一小时30公里，但他们总是开着车嗖嗖的从这里穿过。”

埃德蒙顿交警部门目前已经关闭这段道路，进行调查。

This Monday at around 5:05PM, at the Westbrook School and the strip mall location, a reckless driver made a  left turn to go south on 119 Street. The car almost hit the teenager (Asian young fellow, very handsome looking), possibly stop about 10 CM in front of him.  I am like, STOPPPPPP.... just to yell to the driver as the driver had no right of way. The boy was crossing the 119 Street.

Life is precious, and those who are behind the wheel, need to be sober and pay attention to signs.
