Alan Alexander Wong, 23, died from injuries resulting from the early-morning head-on collision. Wong lived in Fort McMurray, but his family is from British Columbia, police said earlier this week.

; f5 H3 s0 V8 B9 L, sThe crash happened when Wong, heading south in a small Mazda car, lost control due to weather and road conditions and hit a gravel truck and tractor unit. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch.$ {! {% i3 K% X0 J; U
The driver of the truck was not injured. Police said Tuesday they did not expect to lay charges. |
