EDMONTON — The West Edmonton Mall has reopened after police investigated a suspicious package Tuesday morning.: F9 _9 k) S8 u. f; B) p

The item, which turned out to be a DVD player, was reported to police just after 8:30 a.m. and officers swooped in to shut down entrances to the shopping centre.

" w2 k" o( u2 o7 sPolice evacuated the mall, and a short time later determined the package was merely a DVD player left on a bench outside the SportCheck store.
