You can sponsor one relative of any age or relationship, but only if you do not have one of these living relatives who could be sponsored as a member of the family class:

you do not have any relative who is a:

Canadian citizen,
permanent resident or

家庭团聚类移民，是指由加拿大公民或永久居民为其近亲担保申请的加拿大永久居民签证。加拿大亲属是担保人。要申请家庭团聚类移民，申请人必须同加拿大经济担保人有以下关系：申请人必须是担保人的配偶、未婚夫(妻)、父母或祖父母；失去双亲的兄弟姐妹、侄子、侄女、外甥、外甥女或19岁以下未婚孙子(女)；19岁以下孤儿或由福利部门认可的由担保人领养或打算领养的孩子；如担保人没有以上所列亲属，也没有其他是加拿大公民或永久居民的亲属，可担保另一位亲属。
