Savages

6 n0 [* s5 b5 _! h- }# e# ?Builders of canoes,
Black smiths
: j: G! K$ C' Z( h7 `1 qMurderers,
Risk takers,
4 P( ~: @! _* M* M3 PMy mind is full of curiosity and wonder
As I think of what could be.
The world is so big to me
I wonder what it means to be
I looked up at the star and smiled
They flashed as they have heard all I have read.

Here am I,
A poor old Guy;
* x1 B' ]! {( L: CLegs in a bonfire,
Head in the sky
0 e$ b+ T' b; u2 u, bLonely, with the feel of betray
Heart empty and hollow
Alone I stand
. {4 X% {% L4 B+ F. v. e2 kI am useless to all
But I wish I were a dove
Giving myself to the world, to the fire
" |4 `4 k5 p$ @( J( Y1 I# dI feel like burning myself in to dust and fly with the wind

Though he does not answer
He bless me with the gift of hope
