This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible).& N& q W; O8 n0 Y" D- P$ J+ @
When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic8 q( `8 U8 a& f) }: ?
condition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and & M, I+ G- O4 Q0 K- M& I( e• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or3 k6 E2 T x0 E4 x$ q8 `8 B
• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy." c) y# ~4 ~* v4 ~" ?" G# c2 B/ Y; P
If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
