When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic N7 `# [$ {; E
condition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and - Z5 g. g# T/ Z% c• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or 2 s4 C2 Z& H: m% D1 \3 `$ ?. z7 W• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy.* v9 U1 W8 E$ W4 A
If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
