• knowledge of Simply Accounting software is required
* a8 D6 f9 Z7 {: H• prepare invoices and reports; T0 a- D8 e8 M$ D6 C
• take telephone calls4 O3 x3 T* @) W# f" b
• make up cheques
' `% h/ ^- b, R$ H A3 M• make bank deposits and reconcile records of bank transactions
' f$ R* y4 {& K• perform computer data entry and analysis functions: ? v8 ^ G! o7 z# Y* v
• assist with or maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records, ledgers and journals# @- T3 O$ A& P/ d8 p2 I0 F6 M
• assist with or perform payroll calculations
, w% z$ v! B) q. L, F0 h• analyze and record business transactions and period end adjustments
8 Y8 {: z/ Q# h) y* B4 W• prepare basic financial statements
* W; P# `8 P3 J$ T |: O9 L, p• compute and record depreciation for book and tax purposes
9 D* ?. w* D" W+ Z: g5 o• perform other clerical duties.
