买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:. o$ T( ]4 C& }5 Z5 w% z4 t
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and2 m& P$ ?* P: ^; S; d: H6 O9 j
•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).1 g$ t; j6 U3 S! H. q# c  A+ x1 y
So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

A share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.

在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750. 3 d: @5 h; ]. x

1 y5 v* S. f- W$ o6 {, k1 ?The claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.5 T! Q! t# @& T' k

# v8 d8 A. T2 _' y/ iWhen more than one individual is entitled to the amount (for example, when two people jointly buy a home), the total of all amounts claimed cannot exceed $5,000.3 r5 \% z7 \2 w; q" U# E- ~8 k4 {
