Miranda三月份的育儿讲座

首先非常感谢大家对Miranda的支持。Miranda 决定在三月份开一个为期四个礼拜的育儿讲座。Miranda 会在第一个礼拜准备一些小吃/点心，之后的三个礼拜希望爸爸妈妈们能带点心来，当然也欢迎大家在第一个礼拜带来。这次Miranda举办这个讲座没请其他机构帮忙（除了提供场地），所以不会有托儿服务，希望大家尽量不要带小孩来。谢谢！

地点：West Meadow Baptist church （9333-199st）

Class I: 1. Understand your child (normal growth and development of each age group)
4 g$ \* Q) n! z5 v# v. B            2. Understand yourself (let’s go back to our childhood)
" r* t- K" W$ x' k7 P# Q            3. How our believes and culture play a big part in our parenting
) X7 @4 G" _$ j& J2 f) s) p
Class II:  Effective discipline for this age group, how to do:
3 l5 n% u1 i' l* T, {! T/ q+ i              -Be firm and be consistent
1 c  ~' p: e0 P; |              -Set routines,  set limits, set boundaries
) o5 J4 o' }% L) A3 v              -Avoid stressful situations
              -Time out (give your child a Break)

Class III: Continue with class II, how to do:
+ N* o9 H' V& m8 B" ?3 _               -Create play areas (how to develop 4 or 5 play centers for education benefits)
- K. b6 K! u" t$ }& W) U               -Decrease/eliminate negative behavior, encourage positive behavior
& U1 V) c6 ~4 ?" p               - ‘I’  Message

               -Think like a child

Class IV:  Continue with class III:

               -Build family relationship (how mother’s roles and father’s roles affect children emotional

              -Three different types of parents
              -Build resilient children (what does it mean? And how?)

/ L3 g: M. `7 A不好意思，这不是产前班，是育儿班，不会有hospital tour。等Miranda再开产前班的时候会有的。
