关于spray foam

如果R value一样的话。Spray Foam是不是还是比普通的insulation要好。以2000尺的房子为例，用spray foam会贵多少呢？谢谢

Spray foam should have a higher averaged R value per inch thickness compared to regular batt insulation, and last longer. If you want the same R value, you need less thick spray foam than regular batt insulation. To compare the cost, you have to know how much R is required as per code, and calculate the required thickness and then calculate the price difference, this is my understanding, anyway, "the required R value as per code affects the insulation thickness, and the insulation thickness affects the price", hope this helps,
