* u! Z( a+ @3 I' o• Support capital projects and network build activity with coordination, installation, and commissioning duties • Respond to corrective network problems, performing effective/efficient problem analysis, rapid troubleshooting diagnosis and prompt repair of equipment to ensure service restoral objectives are met.

• Coordinate with other Technicians and departments as required to obtain maintain service levels.

# }1 F/ W  e( `7 v. B+ O• Plan for and implement preventive maintenance routines to ensure network standards of performance are met.

( [3 h* U" U/ _) t, Y• Perform cutovers and upgrades on the network as directed by work orders.

• Maintain "up-to-date" site documentation as outlined by the EWO initiative.

/ r9 k, v2 Y6 R7 ^• Perform acceptance tests on newly installed sites and equipment to ensure results meet design specifications.

0 B1 N2 j2 a) s# h5 _• Microwave and Transmission experience (e.g. DS1, DS2 ,DS3, OC3, OC12, IP) • Gain in depth knowledge of key quality service indicators in geographic area of responsibility.

3 Q" g2 v" r/ u. q• Optical Fiber, SONET and knowledge of TCP/IP • Participate in retune activities associated with network optimization and build activities.

• Maintain inventory of required parts and perform regular audits to ensure availability of parts.

8 x+ N$ r/ U: F1 _* U8 Y  V• Administrative reporting of Mileage, Timesheet, Expenses, Equipment and Deficiency ticket updates etc.

0 F; N: Y- O. p( E• Test hand-offs, RSSI, transmit level on mobiles, dropped calls and investigate any changes.

• Document activities for future assessment analysis.

• Diploma or Certificate in Electronics from a technical institute.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

3 V$ X4 N! K- L• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

The Manager is looking for a contractor with the following skills:

. x  p$ y. B" N/ @# |-Telecom Diploma with at least 2 years of post secondary education -Experience working at a cell site -Must be willing to travel around Alberta (expenses will be reimbursed) -Experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Internet Protocol Analyzers, RFC testing and Microwave testing *The manager is not looking for Engineers.

( |4 S$ Z  P3 T% f3 s5 ?*The contractor will not be required to do any climbing This is for a large LTE Expansion in Alberta.
