- r* t# {, m2 D! Y(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
' e }: O9 Z$ W4 x. i. \& u/ pattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of : |3 ]! {: _: ^6 L% C
information that will make your transition to the University community A$ G; m5 J: y# n' l7 J, O
more successful.

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds
9 ?- T5 H a& Y8 j! E2 D9 ^$ zof volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically / E3 N2 f% P& F* H+ v
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth 0 `6 A2 S. s O/ d+ G
of directional information.

9 d1 T5 Z) Z1 ?, n1 Z* _+ n6 GBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening $ h5 K) c |! F
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend
3 R' R) H# D7 S" w- U7 i3 _a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday # Z {' n$ n& k! G7 p+ o. P
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
: H9 k" I% ]9 x. aHawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
" u5 R1 ]' k& {% r; X$ RSeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, . @( g/ g# _9 [7 \! [
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.9 C$ r" H. M$ x% X- k

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
0 F% E) g: O+ J4 T' \% ~to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from - i2 F. \* l: n: E* q
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
% M1 o! |8 h v& t; r, pONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
, r% @0 m0 S/ y7 Hyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece - e# w2 `8 r( F" ?" S! {4 [
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
7 P3 h$ p. _ E1 {5 _, v( tComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
5 [9 s g. K' W0 C% a% VInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
G& w4 q9 s% O' Abring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the * k- r- r5 {5 o$ Q3 S: W
two days of Orientation).! i0 G& m" Q! ^1 R$ B' D
