(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
3 A2 n" ~- O3 h: n# T) i8 Dattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
4 X G# [) A' _: q2 j# o4 _* Linformation that will make your transition to the University community

If you are unfamiliar with campus you can visit

4 r2 L. U1 f- [to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds 4 D/ \1 c. q0 u! P
of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically 8 T1 d! W4 R4 ?7 N: |
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth 1 L0 w2 Y* i* @3 @* ~
of directional information.

1 \$ J2 Y" e; c( V7 X7 ?, d* \Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening ; i3 r$ J1 Q$ T8 H; ^- R
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 4 g6 j' Q( P) b4 }; y) @6 A( g
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday ( |+ V# T6 `; @, v6 V+ Q3 \. g
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
, {% b& g& Q% ~# {Hawrelak Park.

- v, w: v, P1 T. n; TYou will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on . O, s1 e* D0 {4 L3 d
September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, O3 p, F8 p) }1 x1 s
and then continue to meet with for the entire year." @4 X) U1 A& W* p; t6 L

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 4 a/ H& X' a# D' m+ f& `
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from 4 j6 f6 p' Q$ Y L
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your : l, C# S& h) F t: h9 @! o
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process ! y+ j5 O1 y2 h3 t6 @6 p' n: J
your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece 1 g+ `. U2 \% b& A( |
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus 6 J" j" R' z+ _: O
Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
& \: X' I; R& t" P. P( nInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
% H: {) K+ W2 n1 J* dbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
3 G# s4 Z: ~; j: q0 i) w$ Y; [two days of Orientation).
