attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of

more successful.

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically : z3 z2 ^9 P# P8 q9 A R
look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth R3 \4 ?5 Y) Q% I/ Z1 j
of directional information.

Both days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening A, y/ a. t+ v: R) O* |
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 2 J7 w ~ J6 {( E- m
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday `% F- y- A Y% M8 `( y
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in
7 M4 |2 x6 \& g) AHawrelak Park.

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
% t( l4 o7 z( I! u+ W: B/ ISeptember 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, 0 ?! M1 Z. C, H% i T
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.
+ @. P8 {& ~/ V6 \% }. b" v) \* B8 C$ K8 { i+ l
Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
1 Y. k$ o; l3 P/ d0 Kto get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
$ Y- T9 j# i, v5 E4 }; Iyour faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
: ~1 \4 M6 h6 w" t' zONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
, V j: ^% X4 q& f1 v: _* Qyour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece
9 L: I4 y- a* [- Zof government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
- u$ V4 d/ i5 F p* X8 {Computing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic ' K2 U- r6 b% Q& A
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and ! o% X$ X* i/ E" _5 z
bring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the ) |& `, H4 F% j+ j6 g" w
two days of Orientation).
