To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

% j- F( i. P* z9 ~Primary Objective/Duties of position:

* h5 `% x* H; W! [* W  m' y9 _    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
, J4 y; X! E# j; e3 \0 X    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
! l) \' a  F+ ^; _* j    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
% n4 V; P  w( U# E; B) I    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes

    Participate in community marketing initiatives

1 S; r( j. m& n0 U( g$ p" b0 G# \The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

    High School and or Post Secondary Education
# U! S) o% W1 C' w7 X    Previous customer service experience
( }7 p: X! Y' N# U, t    Previous sales experience an asset
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
+ X/ @6 C' W8 M8 \, b# f* e0 @; q    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
$ ?4 U* h* X  B8 G) r    Strong analytical and organizational skills
! |2 J" i$ Q5 z# c8 l6 o9 V    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
% k1 w$ K  y6 |" r: ^$ t    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
