Position Summary:
To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

7 N; z) ?. p& w( }+ j' O# yPrimary Objective/Duties of position:

$ A/ L; C6 J0 L( T9 x    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
! C0 O; D0 |- }& q8 v0 F: d* l8 ?7 V    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
7 o; d' L8 J3 [* i( C* N* j    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
/ o& f, ^' d) ~, w    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
9 ]1 }( l) D0 Y, X: V0 |    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
! p  a/ m% ~, H  R$ T    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
    Actively participate in training initiatives
    Participate in community marketing initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
) j! K" x* l: p, K* Y0 y9 F
: t3 v- W$ X* H# j! l; @. R    High School and or Post Secondary Education
    Previous customer service experience
6 N0 p. x$ C! i2 F) I7 M/ s# D    Previous sales experience an asset
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
    Strong analytical and organizational skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
