! ~* D, ^5 n6 p$ E k/ }; q•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services " o+ v1 |8 m+ v. n! ~
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies

B) j- E) ~•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting0 |# y. ^" j; _8 Q
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects./ p, Y' t, s+ S8 o
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential7 O$ J9 I8 x2 }

Qualifications:3 ]- N9 _, L- M8 J9 @0 `0 A
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
9 L9 |; Q6 w: D5 C•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
7 u8 Q6 O) M6 F9 z•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
$ ]/ Y4 s: g L•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 0 [$ S; K, C/ J5 I" l: [
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
