This position reports directly to the District Program Manager8 G) V! c/ ?( k! X5 m4 ^
) g, B8 h( }; i' x# k
Key Responsibilities are as follows:
) T- r& \: y+ l$ `8 U2 P•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services * V1 z( Y) m: T. K) m+ Q" @) h
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies: I! V7 H! M9 M/ i" l- b
•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting+ n1 b3 f  q* z" t; q
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
: @7 v* J( S5 t! z•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential4 i# o. P, y" b/ c8 i

5 p" V9 d; V$ u6 R) r•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;+ p4 X7 [5 r4 H8 k+ e8 t! j
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
8 H) X# C1 ?* z$ I1 E•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;4 [6 m! M  F: H* d* A9 e
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
" b  c# J0 C: u" R* g1 A  {' I•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
