Key Responsibilities are as follows:
! A m- i, I4 j•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 6 L1 b# e+ z+ P; S$ ~
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
+ A5 \, M8 i' Z1 m8 q4 U•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting7 _% N! U! ~! s9 g5 [
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.; r9 o' `: K9 W1 x' U1 o
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;6 K+ f, y2 W+ ^/ p; v
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;# @& B' ~& T) |+ b
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; Z, G% [! d- u6 H4 b# c$ V
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
