z" }* B7 j$ H•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services ) v: j1 ^3 Y8 _ h2 L
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
1 ^5 {' ? ]5 H- U' L& s•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
4 E: p' P9 [! M* T" e* L•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
" R; D k1 i$ m; M2 }•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential. J: x. Y! F& J- a: Y$ g

Qualifications:% p5 M( K1 p& k6 a: l+ _% D& z/ U* @
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;5 [" E9 [7 J# e8 n( d- Q/ o
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;# G8 i6 n$ ~* e: T2 T0 n! J+ z
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;7 Z+ i2 r8 c# Q- S1 B7 L0 }6 j* d
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
6 f; y' ~2 R% P+ `& S1 C•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.! D& ]/ c9 C* }9 L
