Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

+ A0 d! |* J/ _0 B/ g' K$ QWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

. @$ k) |0 W0 j5 Z: AThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
4 D. E' T6 C3 A  D  p; M  c* d Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
 Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
  N9 e" N, c0 m. N/ q5 Y Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
7 a: R5 n6 u) q( {- |) m Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
+ @  p+ x& V% b6 l, r Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
