According to the Oxford Dictionary, both fish and fishes can be used as the plural form, but fish is more common.

We use fishes when talking about different types of fish. For example, I caught five fish today and they were different fishes. 3 E9 z: [5 H# U' x, G' l
2 b+ l* A' C# P" q; v% h+ zFish is uncountable when we talk about the meat of fish. For instance, I want to have fish for supper. |
