Job Responsibilities7 X: f4 T- T- o7 ~! f9 ~
•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.  }6 Q) J3 p3 Q6 c
•        Oversee hotel security requirements. 9 D. Q# O2 Y. w% x+ z: M7 w4 y
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.' h7 g! x5 F) I9 K0 ~5 f. g
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. ) b* o7 H$ d. R& Y/ n+ E2 |
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
$ \* v0 H6 {& J% L3 u, N& q; ?/ x•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
1 b1 z% d- g- F% A: G- ~3 q•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
5 Q$ b$ J* ?5 _' L- a/ Y! O•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
7 E2 o) ~8 g. W6 R% N•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
3 ]3 @0 K) M2 m+ i( k•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
4 g: ~' d4 Z" q1 j  A4 G: @•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. : N4 {: r0 v0 D/ V& |
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. - b7 Z' b5 U) N8 S9 m
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
3 X7 N* }* f9 h# N4 O% @' C' D) z•        Attend Cluster meetings.
, w5 e: f& `- ?9 n•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
( F: K. H# ]# z( V•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department ( M* Y- m8 X2 v7 H
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies+ L) {. N8 w, O
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center7 w: {8 i4 H  Y2 f8 Q! k! X
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property

• Ability to lead and develop;
0 g/ @/ u. O) O) q1 c, |3 D0 i+ [• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
$ U  o. p$ z. I- x8 z1 o% V• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
