Job Responsibilities
6 N" L; k5 h  V! i# t+ P•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
0 A- I5 P5 ?/ |•        Oversee hotel security requirements.   }9 T2 q  V1 z! Q& K3 L% m& M
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.3 Y& L" g5 n# j% r
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. # n% X# D. I1 G
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.9 z, t9 j2 v; R
•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.7 }$ r9 j4 [! _; I3 Z- Z* h# A* d
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
4 e& H$ R/ f, y0 D$ s•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
: Y( T, B' s1 n% j6 f•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
* ~9 T% J2 l) U( h•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. # s1 a3 p) A7 q8 q3 S0 M3 g
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. " U0 }* g: k' a; E: A  ?* Z$ j6 R
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
4 t1 j& ]+ d/ c1 {- t" C" z•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware." J9 n) G7 w9 l
•        Attend Cluster meetings. ( f' c, J1 ]+ I. g8 }5 w2 f
•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.2 X0 ]; e" ^- F/ X& d$ w
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
  J* [* z" v9 U5 k7 s6 O•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
( O1 ~8 C7 [, o+ r0 B•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center7 N( S, r; V# ^9 u$ E
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float , t( ^9 Q' Y$ _
•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

+ T$ R# O3 m" L1 u/ Q: K•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
' ~0 y' @8 J. ^' S• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
1 c4 o9 @! C; n, o3 d( w• Ability to lead and develop;
  n' d" u4 a- A0 u8 k# d$ x• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;  h8 C# _! Y; k2 J, b1 D
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;2 K+ g1 L- Y8 }0 L* V2 r  d8 l
• Ability to work within deadlines;
% _1 `3 q: T6 O# `8 b  ~! N• High level of creativity and innovation;8 V' c0 ]/ ~& X1 u2 g. V7 j- Z
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;# m: \7 @7 e! R) A/ q6 d) H4 v
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.$ B7 r. Y+ K1 w1 F# G  I3 Z4 \
