  |) _# r1 P! F& x( D7 A•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
- X6 ?2 t% `: Z$ q1 \' x/ {! Q) l7 v•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
  Y( y8 S  T4 F" {% a$ d: x•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
7 l( k) G) y. W•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. 7 Q' n& [" \2 r
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
9 R4 B" f6 I0 v7 {# f•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
) T: ]- b3 O0 N9 |•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests./ N- f# k! t+ \( s. R0 P* R& R
•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
" G/ _3 g& o1 J9 m, X% V! }. V% F( g•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
* p% f. b; p  }: k& \3 q2 F•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
9 ?( z( S  x+ g+ V7 a; U, X2 Z•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
+ U. h, H& b4 Z' Q0 g& C( x•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
" `& D4 x/ \% I0 d- c•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.& K% }3 Q) x# \1 P' f" o
•        Attend Cluster meetings.
! o5 i0 O  Z3 u, z- g4 H2 J+ U$ ?•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.
! P# \. C* {! e2 t; D( k9 G; |$ o•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department 5 N& `0 T/ P8 r; A4 l! G
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
3 X5 _+ W$ X* \: t" M# w•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center3 |2 k+ L' ?9 m" o" j
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float 9 O2 U* ]5 [0 V8 [# ^3 F' X: b
•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager3 w3 Y, m/ S; N- x& F8 E! |8 A

Requirements:
% U7 z2 M8 \4 U: W•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
& b3 d/ M: K! E9 N6 i• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;( U# ~4 Z# n6 N+ i; A7 _
• Ability to lead and develop;: [( _- j- B$ \' |
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;! Y4 L$ n3 d* g4 d+ J3 W& q$ z4 y' V
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;6 Z1 s4 ]: X+ j
• Ability to work within deadlines;* W" z* C+ m8 o9 ~+ M9 F1 V3 `  g' d
• High level of creativity and innovation;# _: y' T" B$ S. F
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
