Job Responsibilities
6 p/ _) Z) u# J) ?0 p• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.. _5 R5 ~5 d" x2 p0 q, Z9 t
• Oversee hotel security requirements. . h9 m5 F4 Z Z6 t$ a& K
• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.

• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.5 S2 x5 w* |+ t
• To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
4 f2 n: {) C8 z• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
% E' X# j3 l3 ~# d: L4 a• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.

• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.

6 I. t; [1 a# _8 }- {$ v! l4 ]• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.

/ ~& O( B- U) w; M% y• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies8 C5 j. U, t; ?! h- e! t: g
• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center. x, J, ~/ m; B9 b$ [2 o5 j4 V" _- i# ?0 q
• Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float 5 N7 D' H% s( M! ~% U# i
• Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

Requirements:
* w2 w" j8 d" _! ~1 Z: f•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property. O! ?' V) e ~7 V3 [! N* [
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;, W* N8 `* k& G f$ F
• Ability to lead and develop;
