• Offer support and assistance to the General Manager in the following areas:
6 R) I0 Y# F) U' C' \5 T• Develop, prepare, execute and achieve financial goals;
* S; e1 s' x2 v& [* W• Provide timely and accurate financial statements;
2 T4 ~7 a* l/ {; H) r& P8 Y• Maintain the system of internal checks designed to prevent or promptly detect unauthorized transactions;

• To reconcile all supplier accounts, to post all payables, and to pay vendors in accordance with due dates and cash flow projections;

• Ensure Internal audit recommendations are implemented on a timely basis;

• To ensure that there is an effective system of purchasing, receiving, and control of supplies in place at all times with proper requisition procedures;
$ c6 a; {( U4 } m3 t3 s• To ensure that usual and exceptional purchases are approved consistent with the budgeting and forecasting system;$ O+ T1 e9 x1 n, p9 S
• To ensure all accounting procedures comply with corporate accounting systems;

Requirements:
) r; E$ Z& u7 R2 E0 }) x3 u4 U• Strong accounting knowledge to handle a complete accounting cycle in a centralized environment.1 u' G$ B, [1 m6 J5 Y$ x
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and owners in a professional manner;+ m7 ^. W9 s3 f# e
• Supervisory experience within the hotel industry;
* \9 C1 ]7 g( ~• Knowledge of development and execution of business plans and budgets; 0 T1 H6 ]1 R5 O8 _7 s1 h7 ^
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and administration skills;

• Knowledge of Alberta Labor Standards an assets.
