To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
& k* W# R: ]; _( f• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;" w& z5 Q0 @+ @
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
# v- Q- Y* {) |+ z• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
: d$ h* c+ Y! O. b• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
8 c- }/ v" |( T" y+ J; M• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;2 ], l" E3 P) g, A& s  t+ _
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;* V( L. L9 t3 q% y% r) m
• Participate in trade shows;
: X( l/ O! c& r4 y: V• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;

• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;

Requirements:
, D2 g) J) J  t•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property* T$ v0 M9 T- T* p) r. N5 Z
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
3 m2 j6 z+ @! g9 X• Ability to lead and develop;
7 q5 d% V5 h" U# T: N• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
4 m$ h1 {9 U0 l* ~• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
& c0 [) R. X7 L* D• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;+ c5 h! N) D% n
• Ability to work within deadlines;
& g, i; y9 n- i6 w• High level of creativity and innovation;
/ l3 e* M6 x: \% F• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
