To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.) b# K  [0 W6 W9 j2 q  l7 T

5 f0 |& S4 B  o3 p) X$ _7 A' d• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.1 W' o' ]1 d7 ^1 B+ |, d6 u" j
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
: m9 _  V1 B" Z# b  Q  Z9 b• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
' J5 O# S9 c" e0 b' G0 e• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
' p, l& ]& F5 x, F• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.  e3 G0 j  J6 }+ m
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;. |) S. e0 p+ T& _6 E7 r. y' _
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
' ]) V3 |! {8 y9 h) j• Participate in trade shows;, ]& e$ X" C+ E9 e' [+ K, }& u
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
% Q& C  k. \" a• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;

Requirements:) y# t' ]1 U8 p* T
•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property! P" R( K; t; m5 {
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;8 Z4 l9 i# ~3 b# g
• Ability to lead and develop;
1 _/ M$ q0 x! K+ ~5 r, |• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
8 u* {0 D* F1 ?: p5 T# s• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;5 V% [" G6 t+ D9 T# G" ]
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;# W; w; h5 j2 ]8 G& [
• Ability to work within deadlines;
