-promote the Centre and ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
6 R% G! D. E# K! s-promote Centre and ISP programs in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
1 `& J: Y3 G, ]! q, J-develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP and Centre
-recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
-promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
-outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
-attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
-adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
-report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
( S/ A4 L* n0 ?+ m) t* Z-recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities

-other duties as assigned

% R2 S# y4 L/ ~+ B# G+ {) E-degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
-knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
! X- E2 g7 z/ F9 z2 w' T: o-good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
-fluent in English and Chinese
-good interpersonal and people skills
-valid driver’s license
